Photoshop Layers of digital art project

This is is a slide show showing several Photoshop layers used to create an image with a "silk screen" feel. I started with a photograph taken in a Greek Island village this summer. That photo was imported as a background. I assembled the slide show by taking a "screen shot" (shift, cmd,4) after every 3 or 4 layers. You can see I completely covered the background photo. I tried to keep a simple, clean feel to the alleyway. I covered over distracting elements. To keep it simple and feeling like a private alley I only left one chair in the final version. I changed the style of the table to give it a more "timeless" feel. I also put a small flower pot on the table to cheer up whoever might sit at that table. In retrospect I think I could have added a few more highlights (of light) to give the final version some more drama.
